There are a mixture of condos and single-family homes all along the Alpine Meadows Road from Highway 89 up to near the base of the ski resort. This secluded neighborhood is a mixture of classic Tahoe cabins, condos and newly built mountain modern homes. The convenient access to local’s favorite, Alpine Meadows, is obviously the biggest draw of living in this neighborhood, plus the hiking and biking access in the summer. Services and restaurants can be found in nearby Tahoe City or in Truckee. There is one private community in Alpine Meadows called Bear Creek which has its own HOA and amenities.
